Terms & Conditions

This site and it's contents are owned by Love Cake (ABN 91 128 736 174) or in the case of some products, a third party. The use and access of this website is subject to our terms and conditions, and the applicable laws of Victoria, Australia. 

 

Love Cake may amend these terms and conditions at it's own discretion with amendments becoming effective immediately.

 

Thank you for choosing Love Cake to provide sweet treats for your special celebration. Accepting a quote and making payment in full or of your deposit means you agree with our terms and conditions outlined below

 

CHANGES TO ORDERS

​

Any requests for changes to your order within fourteen (14) days of the event may incur a fee. Full and final payment is due fourteen (14) days prior to the event date. If full payment is not received by this time, Love Cake reserves the right to cancel your booking. ​

CANCELLATIONS

​

If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as you can.

​

  1. Any order cancellations must be informed via email (karentfernando@gmail.com).

  2. Online store cake jars & cupcake orders:

    • Full refund if cancelled 72 hours prior to delivery/pick up date

    • No refund if cancelled within 24 hours prior to delivery date.

  3. Wedding/two-tier cakes/custom cakes: 

    • If cancellation occurs anytime up to fourteen (14) days prior to the event, the full fee is refunded. 

    • 50% refund if cancelled 7 days prior to delivery date.

    • There will be no refund for any cancellations within 7 days prior to delivery.

PRODUCT COMPLAINTS & REFUNDS

​

  1. At Love Cake, we want you and your guests to be 100% satisfied. If you are unhappy with your cake in any way, please let us know via email to karentfernando@gmail.com, within 24 hours of your event date. Any feedback allows us to improve our service provisions and procedures to ensure our customers are receiving the very best product, each and every time.

  2. Refunds will not be honoured if you are dissatisfied with the design, colour shade or general decoration of your product. If you are unsatisfied with the flavour quality of your product and request a refund the product in question must be returned for assessment within 24 hours and any refund will be at our discretion. We are unable to issue a refund for a cake or other item that has been consumed.

  3. If you are pleased with our product, why not head over to our Facebook page or to Google and leave us a review. All reviews become the property of the business and may be used for marketing purposes; however, names and personal details will always be withheld for your privacy.

When a refund has been processed, it may take between 5-10 business days for the money to successfully return into your account.

DELIVERY

​

  1. You are always welcome to pick up your order.  I’m located in Clarinda, Melbourne

  2. Our cake jars are delivered through Australia Post.​

​

Transit times vary depending on your location in Australia:

  • Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Launceston, Hobart 2-3 business days.

  • All other cities and regional 4-5 business days.

​

**Shipping times are provided as an estimate only and may vary according to weather and road conditions. 

  1. We cannot accept responsibility for unfortunate events, but assure you that every effort is made to ensure your order arrives on time and in perfect condition. 

  2. If the recipient is unable to accept a delivery at the specified address, if it is safe to do so, the order may be left at the door at the discretion of the driver. Please note, we will not be responsible for any damage to products as it is the customers responsibility to attend to the cake within the time listed above. 

  3. If the delivery address supplied by the customer is incorrect or insufficient details are provided, Love Cake does not accept any responsibility for any incorrect deliveries. It is the obligation of the customer to supply accurate information when processing the order.

STORAGE

  1. If you refrigerate the cake/cupcakes/cake jars, please make sure not to consume right away as it may harden and dry out. 

  2. If you wish to consume your products the day following delivery, please refrigerate overnight in our packaging and let it sit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight 1-2 hours prior to consumption.

AGREEMENT OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment of your deposit is considered that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions. For future orders these terms and conditions may be different so we recommend you read them carefully each time you agree to them during the ordering process. Terms and conditions are subject to change at any time.
